Frank and Lucie

Frank and Lucie reading glasses are named for the idiosyncratic couple behind them. Frank spent years designing glasses for various companies, but his wife Lucie and their friends’ frustrations with the lack of quality designer reading glasses found him crafting readers alongside his wife. They’re a good team: he creates vintage-flavored, forward-thinking frames, and she comes up with arresting twists on his designs and names too clever for their own good, such as the “Eyecon” or “Eyequarium”. Their rich acetate glasses are soft-spoken, charming, and distinct — much like their creators.
